This Gorgeous 6 acre property has DIRECT PRIVATE ACCESS to Hardscrabble Mountain, The Holy Cross Wilderness and The White River National Forest. There are 24,000 acres of BLM public land and also The White River National Forest with over 3,500 square miles, both with thousands of miles of recreation trails for mountain biking, hiking, ATVing, MOTO X Dirtbiking, SidebySide UTVing, backcountry skiing and snowboarding, 4x4 Jeeping/Mudding and snowmobiling. Walk out of your tent, your RV or my cabin and you are in of BLM and The White River National Forest. Plenty of flat, shaded ground with water and electiric available. The biggest shade trees in Eagle County, firepits, and a creek with pond and waterfall with sand beach await. Incredible views of Castle Peak, The Flat tops Wilderness, Red Canyon and Hardscrabble Mountain right from the Property. Vail and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts with the best skiing and powder in the world and Glenwood Springs with the world famous Hot Springs Pool and Glenwood Caverns Amusement Park ( amusement park on top of a mountain) and the Iron Mountain Hot Springs Each 25 minutes away. Aspen is a little over an hour away. Pets are welcome and can be off leash if they can respond to voice controls and owners are responsible for their pets at all times. Dogs love it here! All poop must be picked up, $25 per pet per night. Site 2-ON THE GRASS
Site was great! Lovely grass for the tent. Gerry was lovely and knowledgeable! Lovely town of Eagle - good food and excellent coffee at Yeti in the morning. Would happily stay again.

Site 1 - Vail Valley Backcountry Access Tent
Very convenient off the interstate. Driveway is confusing, especially with a few "your GPS is Wrong, turn around" signs. Thankfully Gerry had sent us pics that we could piece the location together based off the powerlines that run over the property. Great little hike option up the hill to tower, very dog friendly. The outhouse has probably the nicest pit toilet I've ever seen. The campsites and property are more condensed/cluttered than the pictures give off, Gerry wasn't home during our stay, was flexible about us changing/adding dates, she was pretty on edge and was constantly checking in and calling us over 3 day stay. First night the ranch hand forgot to shut the sprinklers off, and one pelted the side of our tent ever couple hours and soaked our bedding. Tent area was well kept with smooth ground and freshly mowed lawn, tons of cute praire dogs. Good fire pit, and lean-to. It does get very dusty in this area so those with sensitive airways be warned

Site 1 - Vail Valley Backcountry Access Tent
Mixed feelings on this site. Views are great but under power lines. Facilities are fantastic, site is super clean and had water / power but our tent, my friends mat and bottom of sleeping bag got wet first night by accidental spraying of sprinklers. At 3am we eventually found and turned off the one that was getting us. Location is great for Aspen and Breckenridge hiking as it’s lower elevation but lots of freeway noise.

Finding where to set up tent was not very clear. There were sprinklers that went off during the night near by and you can hear traffic.

Site 2-ON THE GRASS
Back, backyard camping.
The perfect location to set up base camp or just “get away” for a night. Close enough to town for a good breakfast when you don’t want to cook and still in the mountains near trails, rivers and lakes for fishing. We got rained on the whole trip but there was a lean-to we could set up our “kitchen”.
